“Assemble the hosts of heaven”  the voice said echoing like claps of thunder,  Satan too!.... I clutched my ear wondering what I was doing in such a beautiful place, was I dead ? icy ugly hands of fear gripped me, as I raised my face to behold my surroundings, words cannot describe the awesomeness of this magnificent place I saw, I soon forgot that I could be dead and about to face
judgment … everything was made of pure gold, beautiful voices sang melodiously approaching the throne, the intensity of the light emanating from the great  throne was greater than ten thousand suns, I  tried to move.. I couldn’t … I was a spectator to this inconceivable occasion.
  Satan arrived , he was late… perhaps trying to make something of an entrance, he floated past angels standing on the either side of the pillars of gold straight to the gathering in a dark cloud of soot , avoiding the burning light flowing from the great throne
“Satan!”  The voice thundered
“From whence did you come?”
“From roaming the earth”  he answered in a small sly voice
“Have you considered my people’s suffering in Africa?
I froze…….Africa? I asked myself, shocked… my heart beat quickened
“Indeed I have seen  this”  Satan replied adjusting his serpent crested helmet , he answered to all this floating around but carefully avoiding the burning light,  showing off his gleamy dark suit… letting his hollow eyes linger on angels who bowed graciously before the throne
“Have you  done this? Their love for me has waxed cold , and their faith lacking”
“Do  the people scorn God for nought? Satan asked, surely it is because you let the ills of the world befall them, you promise so much… yet you give so little, I give them all they want and take it back when they need it the most, thereby creating unquenchable hunger for those things they have tasted, and they gladly offer their souls to me to gain them back , they do not blame you or me, they blame their leaders.” He answered slyly
 I gulped… and silently hoped no one ever remembers am here… here! Amongst them! In the middle of this debate!
“They shall have all they want from now hence forth, for I have seen their tears, stay clear!  from them” the voice thundered
“Give them all they want and they want, they would be too happy and find no reason to honour thee, you know this!”  he answered , probably realizing the implication of God’s word for he himself knows God never fails
“My people love me … I shall open the windows of heaven for them… there will be No wars in their land, No famine…. No infirmities …No corruption for I have seen their tears” the voice declared
  Satan whirled around startled, “these are people you created yourself, you know them! … for you made them in your own image, Yet you want to do this? What manner of love is this?  You sent the lamb to  die for them ! , but they still scorn you… they have no love for you”

It is indeed a test , I will give them their heart desires and watch if their faith in me grows……
