What a WOMAN wants In a relationship

I usually laugh when a man comes with that cliché question. You know the one that goes something like this;

What exactly do you want babe?

 Oh heck like you don’t know. Y’all are quite aware but playing the “I don’t know” game probably suits you better. It gives you the room to still chill with Ronke with the big booty, or light-skinned Tokunbo. Well, for the men who are sincerely at loss at what a woman truly wants in a relationship , I’ll spell it out for you. You can thank me later.

 Women are emotional beings, so I understand the confusion you might feel sometimes when dealing with us. But what we want is pretty simple; first and foremost is RESPECT, yes you read that right.  We clearly don't get that anywherelse since our society is all shades of fucked up, so it will be refreshing to get that in our homes. Then comes love, care and attention. See? I told you it’s quite simple. Every woman is secretly waiting for that prince that’ll come and sweep her off her feet. Yes, that is why we still fall for your lies even after several sordid experiences. We still say yes hoping that this might be the frog that will turn into a prince. Get it yet? No? Ok, let me break this down.

WE ARE NOT JUST A PIECE OF ASS!!!

If you’re looking for booty to kiss just for awhile, there are some of us that has given up on their dreams you can go to them. They’ll be more than willing as far you have a kobo to spare. The rest of us aren’t looking for boyfriends or magas,(we can take care of ourselves) we are looking for real men. We aren’t asking you to cuff us when you ain’t sure or ready. We are asking you to be able to handle the three P’s when you come asking for that cell number or that first date.

Just be sure you’ll be able to PROFESS, PROVIDE and PROTECT, when things starts getting steamy. Respect, love care and attention comes under this three P’s.

According to Steve Harvey’s Think like a man, professing means you have to be emotionally able to profess what it is you feel exactly, and be able to say this is my woman to all and sundry. Yes, because we are tired of this low-key love, we are tired of not being sure if you’re loyal or not.

Secondly, PROVIDE. Providing means you have to be able take care of your woman. Please stifle that protest coming up your throat. Don’t argue with me on this one, we all know how bad the economy is but this is basic stuff. You can argue with God when you finally meet him because the lord God put it there not me. But why argue? It’s much easier these days because most ladies are into the feminism campaign. Some of these ladies earn more than most men. They are entrepreneurs, politicians, doctors, nurses, teachers, bloggers, actors, singers, bankers, consultants….Name them. No woman wants to sit back and watch the man make all the money so your providing job is quite easier. You can do the little stuffs or the romantic stuffs like buying little surprise presents to appreciate your woman. I must point out that providing shouldn’t be just monetary, sometimes money isn’t needed at all. Please provide care and attention this supersedes all and of course don’t forget to keep it a 100 in the uhmm you know where.

                                 

Finally PROTECTION, this is another basic and natural stuff. It is part of God’s grand design; it isn’t just about the physical protection from harm.You have to be able to stand up for us in situations that require you to be our Dwayne Johnson (the rock). When that food goes downhill and the boys are around, when setbacks show up.  Protect and invest in us in forever ways because we are down for that forever kind of love. We are ready to support you in forever ways, to stand by you through those stormy periods. You got laid off? Baby come, we’ll manage and support each other like a team till we are victorious. You never have to doubt our loyalty or worry over other men as far as you keep it a 100 with us.

This is from the real women. The queens who haven’t given up on their dreams. The ones who haven’t settled for quick money as the only way out.  The ones who believe real men still exist. We should be a team when in a relationship! 

And to the queens who has lost their way. I want to remind you that you are absolutely beautiful and you deserve the world. Please find your way back. Don’t stop praying and hoping. Keep your dreams alive you deserve to be more than just a piece of ass.
