How can you look at something you love and let go?

How do you decide it’s over when your heart isn’t?
How do you walk away from something that means everything to you?
How do you explain that places are just places now?
They hold no allure.
How do you explain that you see no color anymore?
I walked about with my heart wrapped in steel
But you still managed to break it
I thought I could remain unfazed
But you fazed me.
 I am trying to be strong but then there are days.
Days when there is no more room in me for any other thought but you!
We chase those who run from us
And run from those who chase us
Whether my glass is half empty or half full, you’ll always remain
MY OTHER HALF…
